Katherine was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. From the moment we spoke, she was kind, welcoming, and incredibly professional. With LLN attorneys Harry and Gerardo I never had to worry. I never had to worry about whether LLN is going get me the best settlement possible…or rollover at the first offer. Harry and Gerardo have a simple action plan. Present the case for negotiation. If that’s not respected then go to trial. After I signed up with LLN I was introduced to the entire team on a Zoom call. I was told who was responsible for what. I was told where things happen, when things happen, and how they happen. I downloaded the LLN app, and if I needed to reach anyone I simply messaged them and someone got back to me in a timely manner. I always had the option to call if necessary. What I didn’t have to deal with is a guy on a billboard telling me how cool and tough they are. The same guy that calls right away when the slightest pushback happens telling me I need to settle. LLN are trial attorneys who actually go to trial against the opposition. It seems like most other law firms only go to trial when they’re suing their own law partner. How many billboards have I driven past? How many buses with advertisement on the side? How many TV commercials telling me how “they’re gonna fight for my whatever”. It doesn’t happen… and it’s all smoke and mirrors with a majority of the attorneys out there. I believe the attorneys at LLN didn’t do this just for me. LLN operates the way they do because they have pride in their work and self-respect. They have a reputation to uphold, not only with their clients but also with their colleagues and their peers. How do I know this? Because I saw them interact with mediators and judges. I saw how they were treated by the people making the decisions. They have their respect. It’s critical to note that I had realistic expectations for my settlement. For me it was all about finding the sweet spot. The trade-off between a long trial and a verdict, or taking what quite possibly is just as close an offer and settling much earlier while minimizing risk. Once I made a decision I did not look back. The attorneys at LLN are realistic. They stated ‘this is what we have’ , ‘this is what we don’t have’, and ‘this is what we might be able to achieve’ . I made a decision with as much informed consent as possible. I can live with that.
