Charlene Nercess

Attorney Charlene Nercess is a valued member of the LNN legal team.  She is a passionate employment lawyer with experience in dispute resolution, human rights, and privacy law. She handles a wide variety of cases, including those involving discrimination, retaliation, and harassment in the workplace, as well as individual and class action wage and hour disputes.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), she received her Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law. In her legal career, Ms. Nercess served as second chair associate attorney in a $3,451,220 arbitration win for a hospital nurse fired because of his disability, a $1.4 million arbitration win for a factory worker attempting to return from work after taking medical leave, and most recently in a $6.7 million jury verdict in Los Angeles County Superior Court for an employee fired only because she was a pregnant Mexican woman who needed a handful of days off to give birth to her baby.
